Random Selection Services

WOLFE uses DrugPak software system for our customers’ random selection programs for drug testing. The random selection algorithm in the software works with a proven and complex system called Randsel Tracking, tested extensively to ensure that this solution is free from bias and is tamperproof.

How effective is random drug testing? According to www.globalchange.com:

  • The State of Ohio saw absenteeism drop 91 percent, problems with supervisors go down 88 percent, and on-the-job injuries fall 97 percent after they introduced random drug testing.
  • A plastics company estimated that 20 percent of its workforce were taking drugs. The result after introducing random drug testing: “Drug-taking fell to negligible levels.”
  • In Wisconsin, a cardboard factory implemented a random drug testing program and reduced accidents by 72 percent and lost days by 80 percent over the following year.
